Custom Loveseat Cushions

Loveseat frames vary more than people expect: wicker seats are often wider at the front, teak and metal frames have their own depths, and many sets have rounded back corners. We make each loveseat cushion to the size of your frame, so the seat fills it and the backs stand up straight.

Which builder to use

• Two seats with backs: the couch cushion builder has a Loveseat preset that makes a seat and back for each place.
• One long seat cushion: the bench cushion builder makes one-piece seats up to 120″ long, with ties and an optional back.
• Deep-seating loveseats: the deep seat builder for thick seat and back sets.
• Seats wider at the front: the trapezoid cushion builder, common on wicker loveseats.
• Seats that run forward of the arms: the T-shaped cushion builder.
• Refresh only: zippered covers only for your existing foam, or new foam cut to size.

One long cushion or two?

Follow your frame. If there is a bar or divider in the middle, or the original set had two cushions, order two. A flat, open seat can take one long cushion with no gap in the middle. Two cushions are easier to flip, wash and replace one at a time. The same choice applies to the back: one long back, or one back per seat.

Loveseat cushion sizes we are asked for

These ranges come from loveseat quote requests customers sent us in 2025 and 2026. They are a guide only: always measure your own loveseat.

• One-piece seat: usually 42″ to 66″ wide, 20″ to 27″ deep and 3″ to 6″ thick.
• Two separate seats: each usually 22″ to 32″ wide, 23″ to 29″ deep and 4″ to 6″ thick.
• Back cushions: one per seat, usually 17″ to 27″ wide and 13″ to 22″ high.

How to measure a loveseat

• Measure each cushion separately: width, depth and thickness. Pieces on the same frame often differ slightly.
• If the seat is wider at the front than the back, measure both widths.
• Note rounded back corners; they are an option in the builder.
• Measure back height from the top of the seat cushion, not the frame.
• For curved, crescent or U-shaped seats, trace the seat on paper or send your old cover. Template shapes take 5–6 weeks.

Foam and fabric

For a loveseat that gets rained on, choose Dryfast foam, which drains straight through, and Sunbrella fabric, which is water-repellent and stain-resistant. Outdoor cushions go up to 6″ thick. Under a covered porch, HD36-R gives a medium feel; Lux-R is firmer and suits thin seats. Super Soft foam is for back cushions only. Every cover has a zipper, and ties are available on seats and backs.

Delivery

Standard shapes ship in 2–3 weeks with free shipping. We cut most cushions to within ¼″ of your measurements; our maximum tolerance is ±1″ on length and width (±1½″ for cushions of 6 sq ft or more) and ±½″ on thickness, and if a cushion arrives outside that, we remake it free.
