How to measure a dining chair seat

Measure the front width, the back width and the depth from front to back. If the back corners are cut out around the chair legs, note the size of each notch. For an unusual seat, trace it on paper and send us a photo of the template next to a tape measure.

Choosing the foam

  • High Density: medium feel for everyday seats, benches and sofas
  • Lux foam: firm, best for dining seats 1–3″ thick and heavy daily use
  • Super Soft: soft, for back cushions only, never seats
  • Dacron wrap (add-on): a softer, rounder edge for sofa and window seat cushions

Indoor fabrics

Choose from Warwick upholstery (Australian, made for indoor furniture), velvet, Warwick faux leather and Sunbrella for homes with kids, pets or sun-filled rooms. Not sure about a color? Order swatches first.

Questions about dining chair cushions

How thick should a dining chair cushion be?

1″ to 2″ is the most common. Lux foam stays supportive even when thin, so it suits dining seats.

Do the cushions come with ties?

Yes, ties in matching fabric are standard. Hook-and-loop fastening is available on request.

Can I order a set of cushions?

Yes. Order as many as you need, with no minimum, and they are all made to the same size.
