Choosing booth and banquette cushions for a busy restaurant
Measuring a banquette
- Measure the seat length along the front edge and the depth from front to wall.
- For backs, measure height from the seat to the top and note any angle or channel stitching you want to replicate.
- Note corners and where runs meet so we can plan joins.
- Photograph the existing cushions, including zippers and any ties.
Runs longer than our 92-inch single-piece foam limit are split into sections, which also makes them easier to replace one at a time.
Picking a fabric by area
- Indoor booths: Ultraleather or Sunbrella Horizon vinyl. Both wipe clean, which matters with sauces and kids.
- Patios: Sunbrella. It resists fading and mildew and the covers machine wash.
- Waterfront or uncovered patios: Sunbrella Rain or marine collections, which are waterproof, with Dryfast foam.
- Lounges and bars: velvet for a richer look where spills are less likely.
Cleaning between services
Wipe vinyl and Ultraleather with mild soap and water. For tougher stains on Ultraleather, the maker recommends an alcohol-based cleaner or a 5:1 water-to-bleach solution. Sunbrella covers come off and machine wash cold; air dry only. Full steps are in our FAQs.
Planning around the patio season
Approve specs about four weeks before you need the seating out. Rush production and express shipping help when an opening date moves up. Ordering a few spare covers in your main size keeps you covered when one gets damaged.

From your brief to your door

Send your brief
Sizes, quantities, fabric ideas and your deadline. Photos, drawings or old covers all work. We reply the same day during business hours.
- 02
Approve the spec and quote
You get a spec sheet with every dimension and option, plus a project quote. Nothing is cut until you sign off. Swatches are $6 each if you want to see the fabric first.
- 03
We make it
A deposit starts production, which takes 2–3 weeks (8–12 for Ultraleather and Gabriel). Rush production is available. If anything slips, you hear from us before the date, not after.
- 04
Delivered, tracked and insured
The balance is due before shipping. Every parcel is tracked and insured. Covers and foam may arrive separately, and foam needs 12–18 hours to expand once unpacked.

Seat foam is our CertiPUR-US certified Lux foam (1.8 lb density, 50 lb ILD). Outdoor and marine cushions can use quick-draining Dryfast foam. Can you make cushions for a curved or angled banquette?
Yes. Send drawings or a paper template and we'll cut to the shape within ½ inch of the approved spec.
What's the most durable fabric for restaurant booths?
Ultraleather and Sunbrella Horizon marine vinyl both wipe clean and handle constant use. Sunbrella is best for patios.
Do your fabrics meet fire codes?
Our Sunbrella upholstery fabrics are tested to Cal TB 117-2013, NFPA 260 and UFAC Class I. Ultraleather is tested to Cal TB 117 and NFPA 260, and Sunbrella Horizon vinyl to Cal TB 117-2013. We send the fabric maker's test reports with your quote. Codes vary by city, so confirm the requirement with your inspector. See our fire safety and flammability standards.
Can you replace just the covers on our booths?
Yes, if the foam is still in good shape. Covers come off with YKK zippers.
How fast can you deliver?
2–3 weeks from spec approval; 8–12 weeks for Ultraleather. Rush production is available.

Yes. We keep your specs so every location gets matching seating, and ship to each address.
