Boston Whaler Seat Cushions

Boston Whaler owners, whether they run a small Montauk or a larger Outrage center console, often keep their boats for many years. That usually means the hull outlives its upholstery. If the seat cushions on your Whaler are cracked, faded or waterlogged, we can make new ones to the measurements of each seat.

Quick answer

Boston Whaler cushions: the short answer

Fabrica Kraft makes custom Boston Whaler cushions and covers from your measurements or paper templates, in Sunbrella fabric with Dryfast foam that drains and dries quickly. Rectangular cushions take 2–3 weeks and curved shapes from a template take 5–6 weeks.

Older boats

Can you make cushions for an older Whaler?

Yes. Because we work from your measurements, the age of the boat makes no difference. Older Whalers have often been re-rigged or had seating changed over the years, so measure what is on your boat now rather than relying on a factory spec sheet.

Measuring

How do I measure Boston Whaler seat cushions?

Measure each cushion's length, width and thickness, flat on a table.
For bow cushions with angled or curved edges, trace them on paper and label which side faces up.
Write down the location of every cut-out or hardware point on the template.
Photograph how each cushion is fastened to the boat.

Our measuring guide has more detail. Send template questions to care@fabricakraft.com.

Fabric

Which fabric holds up best on deck?

Sunbrella is designed for outdoor use. Lighter colors stay cooler to sit on in summer, while mid-tones hide fish scales and footprints. Order swatches and look at them in daylight on the boat. For other marine projects, see our pontoon and center console cushions page.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are these official Boston Whaler cushions?

No. Fabrica Kraft makes custom cushions to your measurements so they fit your Boston Whaler. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Boston Whaler.

Will the foam hold water?

Choose Dryfast foam. Its open structure lets water drain out, so cushions dry much faster than with standard foam.

Can I replace just the covers?

Yes. If the foam is in good shape, order covers only, cut to your cushion sizes with a zipper.

My cushions snap onto the boat. Can you match that?

Ties in matching fabric are standard and Velcro is available. Email us before ordering if your seats use snaps so we can discuss attachment.

How long does it take?

Rectangular cushions take 2–3 weeks. Curved cushions made from a template take 5–6 weeks.
