Replacement outdoor chair cushions made to fit the patio chairs you already own: dining chairs, club and lounge chairs, swivel rockers, gliders and sling-back frames. Order a seat cushion, a back cushion or a one-piece seat-and-back. Every cushion is cut to your measurements and sewn in Sunbrella fabric, so it keeps its color through years of sun.
How to measure
- Measure your old cushion seam to seam: width across the front, width across the back, depth front to back.
- If the seat is narrower at the back, give both widths and we taper the cushion.
- Measure back cushion height from the seat to the top of the frame.
- Dining chairs usually take 2" to 3" foam; deep club chairs take 4" to 6".

Foam and fill options
All foam is made in the USA and covered by a 3-year warranty.
- High Density foam: medium feel for everyday seating. 2.8 lb/ft³ density, 35 lb ILD, about 16-year life.
- Luxury foam: firm, best for dining seats 1″ to 3″ thick. 2.8 lb/ft³, 50 lb ILD, about 16-year life.
- Dry Fast foam: open-cell foam that drains water, best for outdoor and marine use. 1.8 lb/ft³, 60 lb ILD, 5–8 year life.
- Super Soft foam: for back cushions only. 1.2 lb/ft³, 12 lb ILD.
- Dacron wrap: a 1″ polyester fiber layer around the foam for a fuller, rounded look. Do not reduce your measurements for it.
- Fiber fill: soft polyester fill for loose back cushions.

- Enter your measurements in inches (rounded up to the nearest 1/4″), foam, thickness, piping and ties in the notes.
- We confirm the price and specs by email before we cut anything.
Foam up to 6″ is one solid piece; 6″ to 8″ is two pieces bonded at no extra charge. For thicker or layered cushions, contact us. Tolerance is ±1″ on length and width and ±1/2″ on thickness. Ships in about 2 weeks for in-stock fabrics, 4 weeks otherwise, with free shipping.
Questions
Do you match any brand of patio chair?
Yes. Send your measurements and, if you can, a photo of the old cushion. We make them for any brand of chair.
Which foam should I choose for outdoor chairs?
Dry Fast foam drains water and dries quickly, so it is best for chairs left outdoors.
Can I add ties?
Yes. Add ties at the back corners in the quote notes so the cushion stays on in the wind.
Seat cushions
Measure the seat side to side and front to back, between arms if there are any. Round up to the nearest ¼″. For a tapered seat, measure the front and back widths.
Back cushions
Measure from the seat to where you want the cushion to stop. Width is usually the same as the seat.
Chaise and Adirondack
Measure the full length laid flat, then the back section from the top to the hinge point where the back rest bends.
Covers only
Measure your foam, not the old cover. We cut the cover to fit snugly.
Pillows
Order the cover the size of your insert. Our micro-fibre inserts are sized to fill the cover.
Curtains
Panel width: add the panels up to 1½–2× the opening. Length: from the rod (or top of the tab) to where the hem should land.

Solution-dyed acrylic for indoors and out: fade-, mildew- and stain-resistant. Also marine-grade Horizon vinyl (+50%) and waterproof fabrics (+25%, no piping) for outdoor pieces.

Back cushions: Super Soft for a plush lean-back or High density (HD36-R) for a firmer back indoors; Dryfast outdoors. Super Soft is not used for seats.
Cover only: every product can be ordered as just the cover, cut to your size.
Pillows: soft polyester micro-fibre insert, or cover only.
Dacron wrap: a polyester layer around the foam that rounds the edges and fills the cover. Single or double. All foam is made in the USA.

Do I save if I order more?
Yes. The more you order, the less each piece costs: 2+, 4+, 8+ and 16+ unlock lower prices, shown above the Add to cart button.
Can I order just the cover?
Yes. Choose “Cover only” and measure your foam.
Can I leave it outside?
Choose Outdoor: Sunbrella fabric with Dryfast foam, which drains and dries fast.
Is the price final?
Yes for standard shapes: all-inclusive with free shipping. Unique shapes are confirmed once we have your template.

Custom products can't be returned unless there is a defect or a manufacturing error. We remake any cushion we get wrong. See our Return Policy or contact us with questions before you order.
