Custom Shaped Cushions

Not every seat is a rectangle. Curved benches, half-round window seats, corner nooks and chairs with clipped back corners all need a cushion cut to their own outline. We make custom shaped cushions from your measurements or a paper template, cut within ±0.5″, in Sunbrella for outdoors or Warwick and velvet for indoors.

How custom shapes are made

Build the closest shape in the builder and tick Unique shape, or email your measurements and a photo to operation@fabricakraft.com.

After checkout, send a paper template of the seat, with a photo of it next to a tape measure.

We confirm the cut and any price difference with you before we start. Template shapes ship in 5–6 weeks.

Template tips

Making a good template

Use stiff paper or cardboard, larger than the seat, and trace the outline exactly.
Mark the front edge, and where any ties, posts or notches sit.
Write the thickness you want on the template.
Photograph it flat next to a tape measure and email it with your order number.
Fire pits

Fire pit and curved outdoor benches

Split the curve: sections of 36″–48″ along the outside edge are easier to handle and wash than one long piece. Mark the split points on your template.
Dry Fast foam: open-cell outdoor foam drains straight through, so seats dry quickly after rain.
Keep a safe distance: Sunbrella resists fading and mildew but is not flame-proof. Keep cushions away from open flame and follow your fire pit maker’s clearance guidance.
Ties: add ties at the back so each section stays in place on windy evenings.

Questions

Can you make a cushion from my old one?

Yes. Trace the old cushion on paper, or send it with your measurements, and we cut to that outline.

Can you make cushions for a round fire pit bench?

Yes. Send a template of the seat with the split points marked, and we cut each curved section to match.

Do shaped cushions cost more?

Sometimes. We confirm any difference after we see your template, before anything is cut.

Can I order a shaped cover only?

Yes. Every shape is available as cover only, foam only or the complete cushion.

How long do custom shapes take?

Shapes cut from a template ship in 5–6 weeks.
