Buyer’s guide

Specifying commercial cushions and curtains in Australia

Choosing fabric

  • Indoor seating: Warwick upholstery, including wipe-clean Lustrell vegan leather (PVC).
  • Alfresco and poolside: Sunbrella, solution-dyed for fade resistance, with quick-drain foam.
  • Splash zones: Sunbrella Horizon marine vinyl.

Order swatches to check colours on site.

Fire safety

Commercial buildings in Australia often need fabrics tested to AS/NZS 1530.3. Tell us your requirement and we'll confirm which fabrics come with test results. Read our guide to fire-safety fabrics in Australia.

How a project runs

Send your brief, approve the spec sheet and drawing, then we make and dispatch: 2–3 weeks for standard shapes, 5–6 weeks for custom shapes from a template. See how commercial orders work.

Where it's made

Covers are cut and sewn in our own workroom; foam is made in Australia by Premier Group. Every order ships free within Australia.

How it works

From your brief to your door

  1. 01

    Send your brief

Sizes, quantities, fabric ideas and your deadline. Photos, drawings or old covers all work. We reply the same day during business hours.

  2. 02

    Approve the spec and quote

You get a spec sheet with every dimension and option, plus a project quote. Nothing is cut until you sign off. Order swatches if you'd like to see the fabric first.

  3. 03

    We make it

A deposit starts production, which takes 2–3 weeks for standard shapes, 5–6 weeks for custom shapes made from your template, and 8–12 weeks for Ultraleather and Gabriel. Rush production is available for standard shapes. If anything slips, you hear from us before the date, not after.

  4. 04

    Delivered, tracked and insured

The balance is due before dispatch. Delivery is free Australia-wide, and every parcel is tracked and insured. Covers and foam may arrive separately, and foam needs 12–18 hours to expand once unpacked.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Can't find your answer? Email business@fabricakraft.com or call +1 302-803-5171.

Do you deliver to every state?

Yes. We deliver free to all states and territories, including regional areas, tracked and insured.

Are your fabrics fire rated for commercial use in Australia?

Many Warwick ranges are tested to AS/NZS 1530.3, and we send the maker's test results with your quote. Requirements vary by building, so confirm with your certifier. See our fire-safety guide.

What are your lead times?

Standard shapes are made and dispatched in 2–3 weeks from spec approval. Custom shapes made from your template take 5–6 weeks from when we receive it, and Ultraleather and Gabriel take 8–12 weeks. Rush production is available for standard shapes. See how commercial orders work.

How accurate is the fit?

Every piece is cut within ±1.3 cm (½ inch) of the spec sheet you approve, and remade free if it's outside that.

Can we see samples first?

Yes. Order fabric swatches, and for larger projects order one cushion of each type to check on site before the full run.

Is there trade pricing?

Yes. Approved trade accounts get 10% off from approval, rising to 15% and 20% as your 12-month spend grows. There's no minimum order. See the trade programme.

How does payment work for projects?

Quoted projects are invoiced: a deposit starts production and the balance is due before dispatch. Card payment is available for smaller orders.

Do you make curtains as well as cushions?

Yes. Indoor, outdoor and sheer curtains, with optional blackout lining. See commercial curtains Australia.
