Sofa Cushion Covers

If your sofa still feels good but the fabric is faded, stained or worn through, new sofa cushion covers are the simplest fix. We make zippered couch cushion covers to the exact size of your foam, for seat cushions, back cushions and T-cushions, so you keep the foam you already have and get a fresh, tailored look.

For Sunbrella covers, start with the cushion cover builder. For Warwick, velvet or faux leather, use the couch cushion builder set to Indoor and choose cover only. For a wide-arm sofa, use the T-cushion builder.

How to measure for sofa cushion covers

Unzip the old cover and measure the foam itself, edge to edge. Old covers stretch, so the foam is the accurate size.
Measure the width across the front, the depth from front to back, and the thickness at the side.
Measure every cushion separately. Seats on the same sofa often differ a little.
For a T-cushion, measure the width at the front (across the T), the width at the back, and the depth of each wing.
For back cushions, measure the width, the height and the thickness at the top and bottom if they taper.

Cover or a whole new cushion?

If the foam springs back when you press it and keeps its shape when you sit, a new cover is all you need. If it stays dented or feels thin, order replacement couch cushion foam as well, or complete replacement couch cushions. Our guide to new covers or new cushions walks through the foam test.

Do the covers have zippers?

Yes. Every cover has a zipper, so it fits over your existing foam and comes off when you need it to.

Can I match my existing sofa fabric?

Choose from our in-stock fabrics, or order swatches to compare colors in your own light. You can also send your own fabric once we have confirmed the yardage.
