Can thicker back cushions make a deep seat more comfortable?
Yes. On a deep sofa, the back cushion decides where you end up sitting. If your feet do not reach the floor comfortably, order back cushions a little thicker than the originals to bring you forward. If you like to lounge, keep them slimmer and soft. Tell us the thickness you want in the builder; we cut to that size, not to the old cushion.
For back cushions that hold their shape, HD36-R with a Dacron wrap is the steady choice. Super Soft foam feels more relaxed and is made for backs only.

Because the SÖDERHAMN is modular, cushion sizes can vary from one section to the next. List each section separately: one-seat, corner and chaise. There is no minimum order, so you can also replace just the cushions that get the most use and match the fabric on the rest later.
