About Sunbrella® fabric

Since 1961, Sunbrella quality has been built in at the fiber level for deep-down performance that doesn’t rely on a finish. Sunbrella fabrics are made with Color to the Core™ technology: each fiber is saturated with dye throughout, instead of just on the surface, before it is spun into yarn. The result is long-lasting weather resistance, fade resistance and cleanability, without sacrificing comfort.

Most Sunbrella upholstery fabrics repel water and resist mold and mildew, and they come clean from tough stains, even with bleach. The Sunbrella Rain and marine (Horizon) collections go a step further and are fully waterproof. Every Sunbrella cushion we make carries a Sunbrella × Fabrica Kraft collaboration tag.

Care

• Clean spills as soon as they happen. Blot (don’t rub) with a clean, dry cloth; for oily spills, apply corn starch first and lift it off with a straight edge.
• For everyday marks, use ¼ cup mild soap per gallon of lukewarm water and a soft-bristled brush, cleaning seam to seam. Rinse thoroughly and let it air dry.
• Removable covers can be machine washed: close the zippers and wash cold on a delicate cycle with mild detergent, then air dry.
• For mold, mildew or stubborn stains, mix 1 cup bleach and ¼ cup mild soap per gallon of water, let it soak in for 15 minutes, clean, then rinse thoroughly.
• Avoid hard brushes, scrubbing and steam. Always let Sunbrella air dry.
• Store cushions somewhere dry and ventilated over winter.
