Replacement Cushions for Barcelona-Style Chairs

The steel frame of a Barcelona-style lounge chair lasts a lifetime; the strapped cushions do not. Leather cracks along the welts, foam sinks at the front of the seat, and straps tear at the buttons. We make replacement seat and back cushions, and ottoman cushions, to your chair's measurements in Ultraleather and faux leather.

Why faux leather instead of leather

Ultraleather and quality faux leathers keep a smooth, even surface, wipe clean with soap and water, and do not dry out and crack the way aniline leather can near a sunny window. They also avoid the colour variation between hides, which matters when the seat and back sit side by side.

Straps

What about the straps?

The leather straps that hold cushions to a Barcelona-style frame are part of the frame, not the cushion. Measure the strap spacing and tell us; we make the cushion so it sits on your existing straps. If your straps are broken, have them repaired by an upholsterer before you order.

Measuring

How to measure a Barcelona-style chair

Measure the seat cushion and back cushion separately: width, depth and thickness.
Measure the frame opening as well; older cushions shrink and slump.
Count the tufts (buttons) across and down if you want a tufted look, and send a straight-on photo.
Ottoman cushions are usually square; measure both sides to confirm.
