Eames-Style Lounge Chair Replacement Cushions

Eames-style lounge chairs pair curved wood shells with leather-look cushions, and over years of use those cushions can crack, split at the seams or lose their loft. We make replacement seat, back, headrest and ottoman cushions for Eames-style lounge chairs in faux leather and Ultraleather, shaped from a template of your own cushions.

Why faux leather and Ultraleather only?

The look of this chair depends on a smooth, supple leather-look surface, so we make these cushions in faux leather and Ultraleather. We do not make them in genuine leather. Ultraleather has a soft hand and comes in many colours; order a swatch to see it next to your chair's wood before you commit, since Ultraleather is made to order.

Template

How do I make a template of my cushions?

Take each cushion off the shell and lay it face down on kraft paper.
Trace the outline, then mark the thickness at the center and at the edges.
Mark where each attachment point sits and photograph it close up.
Label every piece (seat, back, headrest, ottoman) and email photos to care@fabricakraft.com before you order.
Attachment

How do the new cushions attach to the shell?

Attachment methods vary between chairs of this style. Some use clips or hooks, others zippers or buttons. Because of that, we ask you to send photos of how yours attach to care@fabricakraft.com. We will tell you what we can make and how it will fit to your shell before you place an order.
