How do I measure a papasan cushion?
Measure straight across the top of the bowl from rim to rim, through the center, to get the diameter. Measure in two directions; if the numbers differ, the frame is oval rather than round, so send us both. For thickness, measure your old cushion at its center, or decide how deep you want to sink in. A slightly firmer foam keeps a thick papasan cushion from flattening into the bottom of the bowl.

For a papasan on a verandah or in a sunroom, Sunbrella or Warwick outdoor fabric stands up to sunlight and spills. Indoors you have more freedom: velvet looks rich in a reading corner, and Sunbrella and Warwick also make indoor fabrics. Order swatches to see the colours in your room.

Can you make a cushion for a double papasan?
Yes. Measure the bowl across in both directions, since double frames are often oval, and enter the sizes in the papasan builder.
Is the papasan cover removable?
Yes. Every cover we make has a zipper, so you can remove it for cleaning.
Can I use a papasan cushion outdoors?
Yes, if you choose Sunbrella or Warwick outdoor fabric. In the open, Dryfast foam drains and dries faster.
